Cheboygan Area Arts Counncil
Cheboygan County Community Foundation is proud to have provided the first matching fund grant of $2,500 to the Cheboygan Area Arts Council to kick off the creation of Seasons in Time, a 100-foot mural in downtown Cheboygan. This ArtVision Cheboygan project is complete and now a new public art landmark to be enjoyed by residents and visitors to our area. The painting depicts the four seasons with individuals and families enjoying the great outdoors.
Art Vision Cheboygan is a dedicated group of local volunteers who are working to add vibrancy and interest by bringing public art to the surrounding area. All their efforts are to help promote economic growth by enhancing the downtown area. The mural project was made possible through fundraising efforts of local businesses, the City of Cheboygan and Main Street/DDA, individuals and grant funding, including that
made by this foundation.
